About this Blog

Hey everybody! I’m finally coming around and joining the blogging bandwagon this year.
To get around this place, there are two navigation links at the top right. “Main Site” takes you to my website, away from the blog. It contains information about my rates, DVDs, albums, sample galleries, etc. It’s pretty much all the need-to-know info about my services. “Blog Home” will take you to the entry page of the blog (as will clicking my logo). At the top left, under my logo, are two tabs. “About this Blog” brings you here and the other - “About Me” - takes you to my rather anemic personal bio page. There’s also an About Me page on my main site, but I don’t link to it from here.
On the right hand side is a panel containing several links to help you get around as well. Starting from the top and working our way down: The Search function - well that’s pretty self-explanatory I think. Type in a search term or two or a million and hopefully I’ve written an entry containing whatever it is you’re looking to find. “Recent Posts” displays the ten most recent entries, with the newest on top. “Categories” is a way of organizing my entries into general topics - if it’s about weddings I’ll put it in Weddings, if portraits, then Portraits, and if it’s unrelated to either of those it’ll go into Miscellaneous. The “Archives” are dynamic and give you an easy way to access stuff by month…the list will grow over time. The “Links” are similar to the Categories…they only change if I add or remove them, except the Links are to external websites rather than pages on this blog.
Hopefully you’ll take a look around & enjoy it enough to come back again for updates on weddings and portraits I have been honored to photograph. I’ll also use this aspect of my website to post about various things that may or may not have anything to do with my photography business. Either way, have fun and feel free to comment on any of my entries. Unfortunately I had to begin requiring registration due to the amount of spam I’ve been getting. You’d think they’d target a bigger blog!
